Reviews and Ratings
This hotel offers a unique experience with rooms overlooking the working harbor and serving fabulous cocktails, although they lack AC or ventilation without opening doors. The service was top-notch from the friendly staff member who booked us in to the housekeeping. The location, above fish & chip shops in the bustling working harbor, is charming but might be a bit tricky to find down a narrow alley. Dining with a beautiful view was included, and the sourdough bread was a delightful touch.
The hotel is right on the harbour, boasting a great location and lively atmosphere. The rooms offer a view over the harbour but lack AC or ventilation, and a relaxing chair is missing. However, they do come with all the required amenities. The service is provided by a helpful staff member who escorted us to our room, and the housekeeping is efficient. The location is convenient for EuroTunnel terminal access but can be noisy due to rowdy diners at the nearby Rocksalt restaurant. The dining experience, with a beautiful view and fresh pasta, was a highlight. The hotel offers included dining with a stunning view. Additional Details: Positive - Great location, included dining; Negative - No AC or ventilation, rowdy diners.
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with great facilities and a very convenient location in the heart of Folkestone. The staff is welcoming, but there are some minor inconveniences in the rooms and dining options.
